Unique Production Topics

In addition to the typical challenges facing herders and ranchers, the reindeer herders of the Seward Peninsula face a unique set of issues. These range from the presence of caribou on winter pasture, to the exacerbated effects of climate change at high latitudes, to the logistical difficulty of herding and corralling in remote locations over rugged terrain.
